Washington, D.C. June 3, 2019 — Strategic Cyber Ventures (SCV), the industry’s first cybersecurity-focused venture capital firm, today proudly announced Peter Joukov as the fifth member of their board of Strategic Venture Advisors.
Peter’s career began as a military officer — he served in the U.S. Navy for five years and completed multiple deployments.
After leaving military service, Peter provided project management consulting services in the Pentagon to senior Department of Defense officials in the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Cybersecurity office, in support of an Identity and Access Management (IdAM) strategic planning initiative. After working in the Pentagon, Peter was a Manager of Professional Services at NetApp, a leading data storage company. Passionate about entrepreneurship and working with dynamic business, Peter advises several growing startups.

Peter also served as COO of One World Identity (OWI), an events and market intelligence company, whose mission is to bring together thought leaders and companies across the identity industry. At OWI, Peter led all aspects of management, operations, and sales to help the company grow from a startup to a sustainable business across multiple product lines.

Peter has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgetown University. He lives in Arlington, VA with his family.
